Care Curiosity is an intervention is hospital department waiting rooms where patients and visitors are encouraged to spend time going over their care treatment, to be come better informed and more familiar with the process. this is done by providing a structure reminiscent of medical curiosity cabinets that houses objects representing the care administered in the department. This may include equipment used for a blood test or an x-ray.
Cards are included which summarise the information and which can be taken away. By amassing a collection of the cards the patient forms a personalised care plan for their later reference. The structure encourages curiosity about care and transparent information.
